Anti-Plagiarism Day: Friday 17 July

Just a little reminder to you all that on Friday I'll be blogging about plagiarism, and hope that some of you will write about it on your own blogs. If you've already written on the subject send me links (by email or in the comments to my plagiarism posts) and I'll edit them into my piece on the day.

Thank you!

Just to say that I will be posting an article about plagiarism and hopefully on how not to become a plagiarist, on my blog at www.vanessagebbiesnews.blogspot.com but it will not go up until Sat/Sun as I am away until then having a rip-roaring writing time in Wales.

I have spread a little cat hair around on my blog today Jane. Mind you, Nicola may tell me to do some housework!

I'll be talking about it on my blog too, http://titaniawrites.blogspot.com/, and am spreading the word around.

Jane,
Just for you, for the first time ever we're doing a non-story related post on Manuscripts Burn in honor of Anti-Plagiarism Day.

Thanks for your enthusiasm. I found your blog thanks to Nicola Morgan - and I wrote on this topic a few posts ago on my blog.

Sadly, it seems to keep coming up again and again.

My post for Anti-Plagiarism Day has now appeared. Do please link to it wherever you can; and if you've been able to join in with your own anti-plagiarism post, add a comment with a link to your piece and I'll edit it into my main piece. Thank you!

The writer whose work sparked off Anti-Plagiarism Day has now commented on my blog, here.

He feels that he's been misrepresented, so I've suggested (on my blog in the thread linked to above, and by email) that he put the story in question online somewhere, to give everyone who is interested the chance to compare it to Tania Hershman's story which it's alleged he copied. I've offered to host his story here, or to link to it if he posts it on his own blog. I look forward to his reply.
