Arrghhh!

I'm SO frustrated. Not one of the posts I'd scheduled for this week has appeared, and each time I try to post anything else those posts just don't appear. I'm trying to update my blog once more (having finally managed to make a new review appear at my self-publishing review blog), and if this post appears here I'll be thrilled.

If my silence continues, please don't think I've gone away: it's my youngest son's ninth birthday this weekend and we have many festivities planned; I'm struggling to get anything published here; and I'm working on two absolutely cracking proposals, and if either or both of them get picked up I'll be dancing like a mad woman: you have been warned.

Talk amongst yourselves while I try to get this sorted. Like Arnie, I'll be back.

Hurrah! It worked! I have a new post up!

I shall now stop exclaiming all over the place and try to schedule some more posts for the coming days. Wish me luck.

This is a known issue with Blogger. I had the same problem last week.

I did wonder: thanks for confirming that. I've been tearing my hair out here.

Nothing more frustrating than technology that doesn't work when you want it to. Glad you're back 'on', and good luck with the proposals.

Thabkyou for the warning Jane, Captain Black. It tells me what cats have always known. Redecoration (of blog sites) is probably not a good idea. At least that is going to be my excuse for not changing the look of mine...purrhaps that IS sheer laziness but I don't care. (But then Jane I do not have your problem of lots of humans reading mine...and the other cats follow silently.)

Jane, darling, I wondered what happened to you. I hoped you'd stolen away for a vacation. But Blogger issues? Pah! You need to switch to Wordpress. Wonderful place.

Renounce your dark ways and come to Wordpress!

Oh bad luck, Jane. I have been away and preoccupied myself so, though I did notice your silence, I didn't chase you.

I had a really irritating blog thing yesterday, when I was trying to schedule two posts to go up one after the other, but one insisted on going up THEN instead of later. It was a job that was meant to take me ten minutes and it took nearly an hour.

Happy birthday to the birthday boy!

Don't believe a word of it. Ms Smith has been far too busy being clever and important to bother with the likes of us.
