Apologies And A Small Celebration

I'm sorry that my blog has been so quiet this week: I thought I had a whole string of interesting and informative posts set up to appear each day but they disappeared the moment I turned my back. I'll write some more and get them posted as soon as I can.

Meanwhile, have you LOOKED at my hit-counter? I've had over 6,000 visitors here! I'm particularly pleased as I've only been blogging for four months. Thank you all for your support: it's much appreciated, as are your comments and emails. Even the rude ones.

I shall now go and do a little happy-dance in the corner of my study before getting down to work.

Just a quick comment to say how much I enjoy your blog. I am a book enthusiast and read several blogs by writers, published and not yet published, and a few bookshop people as well. Your articles are always interesting and informative.
Keep up to good work, and let's look forward to 10000 hits, and many more.

Oh, Pierre, that's very kind of you. I'm glad you like the blog. Especially as I've been a little slow in posting lately. I'll get back into my full swing soon, I promise.
